Ads choice (some information pages)

On the pages that can show a banner ad, a bar asks whether you accept ads cookies. Your answer is kept in your browser’s local storage (or, if that’s blocked, a small first-party cookie called ads_consent) for 6 months. If you accept, the ad network Awin may set its own cookies when a banner loads or is clicked — see how ads work. If you reject, nothing loads.

Other things stored on your device

If you use the app, your browser keeps a copy of the app’s design files (styles, scripts, fonts and icons) so it opens quickly and can show a simple “you’re offline” page. It never stores copies of anyone’s photos, your friends list or locations.
