Friendo is a small, private app for sending photos to friends, poking them, posting a quick status and seeing each other on a map — with your location off until you switch it on.

Poke
A tiny “thinking of you” nudge. Poke back. That’s it.
Post a status
One line — “at the match”, “free for tea?” — that friends see for a day.
Friends map
See friends who choose to share with you. Approximate by default, precise only if they pick you.
Safe by design, not as an afterthought
We built the safety in first, because photos and locations are personal.
- No strangers. No public profiles, no search by name, no “people you may know”.
- Location off by default. Then friend by friend, approximate (about 1 km) unless you choose precise.
- Ghost mode. One tap hides you from everyone and deletes your last position.
- No location history. Only your latest position, and only for a few hours.
- Hidden photo data removed. GPS and camera details are stripped from every photo.
- Block, report, remove. On every snap and profile — reports go to a real person.
- Delete means delete. Your account and photos go straight away.
- 18+ only, invite-only while we test it.
No ads in the app. Ever.
The app has no adverts, no tracking and no algorithm deciding what you see. Some information pages like this one may show a banner ad — only if you accept ads cookies.
